Asset Book Value showing wrong due to % diff in dep key

Hi,

Regarding Asset Depreciation and Book Value, we maintained 16.67%(2007-08) depreciation for one depreciation key and posted all the values. And for the same key depreciation is changed as 20% for the current year (2008-09) and also depreciation was posted from april to oct.

Now if we see the asset history report and AW01N for the last year 2007, still system is showing planned depreciation amount for the depreciation period 12 and the planned depreciation total amount is carryforward to the year 2008 which is wrong. If we see the book value as on date as per the asset report, system is considering the planned depreciation value of period 12-2008. So entire report showing the wrong book value as on date due to depreciation percentage changed in the same depreciation key.

Note that asset accounting fiscal year not closed for 2008. How to correct? Can anyone suggest me how to process further.
