Using Microsoft Dynamics SL2015 as a front-end, I am attempting to run a custom check report which contains a "next page" instruction in group footer1. We've run this report successfully many times in the past on SL7. However, now when testing in the SL 2015, we get the following error: "Group footer not available for total break. Total break request ignored."
The group footer data is valid. I've tried a few things including un-suppressing the group footer section (which was suppressed in the original report) and leaving the "Next page" instruction in place. Nothing I'm trying is resolving the issue.
Any assistance will be appreciated.
Brian,
Thanks for your reply. I was able to get the report to run in the Crystal Reports environment without errors. I'm working with Microsoft Dynamics customer support to see why their interface is generating the error message. Thanks again.

Hi Janice,
Does the report run properly in Crystal Reports against your SL 2015 database?
What version of Crystal Reports are you using?
Remove the group and add it back in again without any formatting. Does it work?
If it does work, start adding back fields and formulas and test after each change. When it fails you'll know what's causing it. If it doesn't fail then possibly something the new version didn't like about how the group was created.
Good luck,
Brian
