Patches and service packs necessary for installation

We are using the following version of SAP Business One:

SAP Business One 2005 B(7.40.243) SP:00 PL:05.

Database: SQL SERVER 2005

DTW Version:2005.0.11

From where can i get the detailed information regarding the important patches to be applied before implementation.. and from where can i get these patches???

Please check the following link:

on your left hand, select SAP Business One Products-> Updates->SAP Business One 2005->SAP BUSINESS ONE 2005 B->SAP BUSINESS ONE 2005 B->win32 -> downloads tab, you will get all the avaialbe patches there.

Hi Divya,

You can always upgrade your patch after implementation but it recommended to upgrade before implementation. As new patches are always better than old one due additional functionalities & removal of bugs.

You can download the new patch with your service ID from service market place in SAP Business One Customer portal.

Hi,

It will be good if you upgrade to 2007 because from January 2009 you might not able to get the new patches.

Hi,

I know that the Service Packs are cumulative, but are patches cumlative? We want to move to service pack 5, Do we need to install both BPC 5.1 SP05 Patch 1 and BPC 5.1 SP05 Patch 2?
