Hi all,
Encountered something odd today. Am installing a Netweaver system on a HANA database and SWPM throws an error on the signature check on the SAP_HANA_CLIENT folder where I had extracted the client software too.
Had used the folder to install the HANA database with so I new it was good.
By trial and error I discovered that if I moved the SIGNATURE.SMF out of the directory SWPM proceeded without erroring out.
Anyone understand this?
If you try to install HANA its exactly the opposite and without the SMF being in the folder then it errors out.
Files used:
IMDB_CLIENT20_003_78-80002082.SAR
SWPM10SP22_7-20009701.SAR
Hi Stefan, I may do that.
Was thinking that the issue might be that SWPM thinks the folder has been tampered with due to the extra file (signature.smf) being present.

Hello Sander,
this behavior does not sound familiar to us.
In order to find the root cause, it would be best to open an SAP Support ticket and include the relevant Logfiles.
