SAP BI platform Installation hanging at 95% in AIX

Hie gurus?,I am trying to install SAP BI platform 4.2 sp5 on AIX 7.2,however the installation is hanging at 95%(Initialising repository).When I chech in the InstallData-ineventory.txt,its saying installation still in progress.When I check in the logs of the installData folder,here is the error found in the errors and warnings textfile:

Error: No value or default for argument: FileError: Attempt to read non-context argument: FileError: not foundError: *** Action failed.What might be the cause of the above error

Make sure you are aware of SAP Note 2313172

You need to look at setupengine.log for the proper understanding of what's going on.
ErrorsAndWarnings log is just a summary.

How log does it hangs ?
maybe it'll take it sweat time and finish.

Also, which and where is the CMS DB for this install ?
And what are your ulimits

Hi,

This can be because of there is no entry for the hostname in the /etc/hosts file

can you please explicitly add an entry in your local /etc/hosts with your hostname and ip address and try.
