Creating an ADSO fails in HANA Studio

Hello all,

I am trying to create a new Advanced DSO in SAP HANA Studio v. 2.2.17 by copying a standard ODSO which contains slashes (/) in its technical name. I can search and find the standard ODSO but when I actually select to create the new ADSO an error is returned by the system. The error displays the following;

Persisting Failed

System Failure: "No infoprovider exists with name "$BA1C$DFTFBAS""

It looks like the system interprets the slash symbol as dollar.

Any help more than appreciated!!
