Update Key fields of PD infotype via FM

Hi All.

We are using the PNNN_MAINTAIN and RH_INSERT_INFTY FM successfully to maintain HRP infotypes. But now there is a requirement that we need to change the BEGDA of the record, which is a key field.

Doesn't the FM do it? or the only way is to delete and create a new record. I am quite sure it should have been possible as in PA, HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION does it. But I am not able to get it to work in PD.

Any clues please?

you can copy each PD infotype record in PP01 and change the begda...
