Hi,

I am trying to log in to DeskI and i am getting this error message:

[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSession - (com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKServerException: Access is denied.

cause:com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.idl.OCA.oca_abuse: IDL:img.seagatesoftware.com/OCA/oca_abuse:3.2

detail:Access is denied.

The server supplied the following details: OCA_Abuse exception 10503 at [.\exceptionmapper.cpp : 79] 42509 {37176, 37176}

...Access is denied. Can't set secondary credentials

) [repo_bridge - BridgeSessionFacade::openSession]

I gave full control to this user to DeskI application and i noticed when i log into InfoView and Launch DeskI it is working fine.But when i go to Start -> Program-> Business Objects X3.1->Business Objects Client Tools ->Desktop Intelligence i am getting this error.And when i go to CMC and check the session, the user id is showing up.

I am using BO XI3.1 on windows 2003 server and Apache/Tomcat on Linux.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

MS

Hi Mohammed,

The issue which you are facing is related to network.

repoproxy13 error are very general network errors, where your machine is not able to bind to the server.

Check whether you are able to ping the BO server, and vice versa.

However, in XIR3.1, i would recommend you to go to the Server section in the CMC, and then open the CMS properties, and in the Command Line Parameters, manually give the hostname or the ip address and then try again.

Hi Mohammed,

Following information might help you to resolve the issue.

When editing or creating a Desktop Intelligence report with Desktop Intelligence the following Internal Problem error message appears:

"[repo_proxy 13] SessionFacade::openSession - (com.crystaldecisions.sdk.exception.SDKException$InvalidArg: The argument has an invalid value ......"

This is caused by a carriage return character in the Description of the User in Central Management Console (CMC). The exact location of this description field is: CMC Home > Users > <user> > Description text area.

This is a limitation that exists up to and including Service Pack 1 of BusinessObjects Enterprise XI Release 2 (still exists in CHF19).

To resolve this error message, edit the description text to one single line of text and let the text wrapping occur automatically.
