Hi SD experts,
Can we establish a control of ordered quantities, while creating a sales order (VA01), so that these quantities are necessarily a multiple of a given number (figure) ?
For instance:
An item X, which unit of measure is "unit', is necessarily sold in boxes of 10 units.
While creating a sales order, the system has to check if the ordered quantity is a multiple of 10;
If not, it has to block the order.
Is that possible ? How ?
Thank you.

Hi bahia
In MMR , there is a field where in delivery how unit per pc should be.If you maintain that then system will check if any cross happens in sales order. In MMR ,check in sales orgn 1, sales orgn 2 , sales gen plant tabs
say for example for delivery UoM you have given as CAR and in sales order you have given BOX.Then system will not accept at delivery level.

Hi
You should try for Rounding of Ordered quantity in the sales order. Either Rounding Up or Rounding Down should happen in the sales order for the ordered quantity. I am not sure about the process of implementing this and this is just a hint for others to comment and give suggestions.
Thanks,
Ravi

Hi
Right now i dont have access to SAP screens
Pls check in MMR sales org 1 and 2 tabs
I think there we maintain delivery units and minimum order qty etc
But even then ,if it is not in its multiples i have seen the system throwing warning message only not error message and with warning you can go ahead and save the order or delivery
I will test this let you know tomorrow at order level it requires ABAP help
Regards
Raja

Hi
You can define the Sales Unit of Measure and give the conversion between the Base unit and the sales unit in the Material Master Record.
Thanks,
Ravi
