Dear ASK,

Functionality - Update Pricing is being used, when you have maintained Condition Records for various Condition Types, such as PR00 - Price OR UTXJ - Taxes etc...

One might maintain various Records types or Scales under these Condition types, over a period of time or other key-combinations.

Once, you create Sales Order, the latest records are fetched in to Sales Documents, based upon Contion Types, maintained in your Pricing Procedure.

Tab: Update Pricing, provides functionality to Update your Price or Taxes, as maintained in VK11/ 12.

If the records are not coming automatically, it means you have maintained Condition Types as "Manual" in your Pricing Procedure.

If any condition type is not flowing in sale order automatically, the most possible reasons could be

- the condition type has been selected for Manual in pricing procedure

- in condition type, it has been maintained for Manual entry has priority

- the sale order creation date is not within the validity periods of pricing condition

- access sequence not maintained properly.

Dear ASK,

As you have confirmed that Condition Types are not maintained as "Manual" in to your Pricing Procedure; Just check with:

T. Code: V/06

Select your Condition Type (say, PR00 or UTXJ etc..)

Within your Condition Type, go to:

Tab: Changes which can be made

Here, within Field: Manual entries, just check what entry has been maintained?

I think, it must be "C"; instead maintain it as "B".

Best Regards,

Amit

Note: When you create Sales Order for the first time, the Condition type will flow in to your Sales Order; but if you have maintained records (as you have shown in to your last posting), you have to go to "Update Pricing" every time, to update your condition type in to Sales Order. System will not update your Condition records, as maintained.
