Hi Experts,

Recently, we have configured SAP GUI for HTML and Web Dynpro ABAP Apps on HANA Cloud platform launchpad. Now if we are trying to access these app from launchpad it is showing login page .If we login with our SAP backend credential then it allow us to go inside. But we do not want to see this login page.We want that it should be single sign on and it should directly open application when we click on Tile.

Can you please suggest how to configure single sign on in this scenario?

Regards
Devesh

Hello Devesh Pandey,

Did you looked in to SAML 2.0 configuration option?

Dear Devesh,

There are many options to reach this scenario. Based on your description I deem it is a Cloud (SCP) to Onpremise (ABAP Backend) scenario. If this is the case I would recommend to establish principal progation using SAP CLoud Connector. Here you can find details:

You can choose options here for example configure Principal Propagation to an ABAP System for HTTPS. This is the "most popular":

According to your requirements you can choose other options in Connectivity help such as client certificate and Kerberos authentication as well.
