Treasury advance postings to Finance

We have a business requirement to post specific treasury transactions to respectively Internal order in CO or WBS elements in the PS module,

I have tried to solve this issue via transaction TPM_DERIVE_ACCNT.

We update respectively the internal order number to Internal ref. VTGFHA-REFER and WBS element to Characteristics VTGFHA-MERKM.

After that we have extended the following data set "TRACS_ACCNT_KEYFIG_SOURCES" with these 2 fields

YY_MERKM 1 Types MERKM CHAR 25 0 Characteristics
YY_REFER 1 Types REFER CHAR 16 0 Reference

and then this dataset TRACS_ACCNT_KEYFIG_TARGETS with these 2 new fields

YY_AUFNR 1 Types AUFNR CHAR 12 0 Order Number
YY_PROJK 1 Types PS_PSP_PNR NUMC 8 0 Work Breakdown Structure Element (WBS Element)

But I simply cannot get these new fields to work. However it does work when I set-up a derivation rule for standard fields. e.g. Portfolio to XREF3. that works perfect, but the list of fields are far from detailed enough to support my business requirements.

Hoping one of you real Treasury experts have some tips and tricks for me.

Thank you so much in advance.

There is a note 537920 - Additional fields for determination of accnt assignmnt ref . It is not relevant to your case. But it shows the mechanism of additional fields derivation. So try to search for similar class and methods - CL*TRAC, for example CL_TPM_ENHANCE_ACCFIG_TRAC -> IF_EX_TPM_ENHANCE_ACCFIG~DERIVE_ACC_KEYFIG.

And what about badi TPM_ACCIF_TRAC (tr. SE18). It also can help you to put all stuff into document.

Thank you so much - I will look at your suggestion with my ABAP colleague.
