How to open a Planned order again, if Purchase requisition was deleted?

Hi experts,

I have converted to a subcontracting purchase requisition from a planned order for complete quantity. During conversion, I have mistakenly deleted a component material and converted. I want to add component material and cannot able to edit component material in that Purchase requisition. If I delete that PR, then planned order is not open again. Please advice me to solve this issue. Thanks in advance.

Planned Order is a planned receipt not a actual receipt. If the planned order is converted to purchase requisition, then that planned will be deleted.

If the PR is deleted the planned order doesn't shown as open item.

So create planned order using copy with reference (using similar material and sale order).

Your solution solved my issue temporarily. It is appearing in CO46 Screen, when created a planned order with reference with other material in same order. thanks!

When we convert a Planned Order to a Production Order or Purchase Requisition, the planned order gets deleted. It is a standard functionality of SAP. So what you have to do is delete the PR generated. Re-run the MRP with Planning Mode : Adapt Planning Data. After a successfull, MRP Run, a new planned order will be created which you can convert to PR.

Okie. Is there any other solution without MRP run?

didn't I answer this already with "a planned order is deleted when you converted it to a requisition, so it can't be re-opened since it is physically gone"

you can as well create a planned order manually with MD11, but what purpose does it really serve if you have the rights to create requisitions anyway? That is just an superfluous manual step then. You do not even have a reference left in the PR and the planned order is anyway physically deleted once you converted it to a PR.

a planned order is deleted when you converted it to a requisition, so it can't be re-opened since it is physically gone. Why don't you just create a new PR from scratch, a planned order is not mandatory to create a PR.

The planned order was anyway only for your header material and not for a component.

You got the components in the requisition because of an existing BoM.

What does this exactly mean: "..cannot able to edit component material in that Purchase requisition" ?

Change is possible in standard, if it is not possible in your system then it might be that it was restricted on demand using a BAdI as explained in this old discussion: https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3217688

Dear Jurgen,

Instead of converting planned order to production order, if convert to Purchase requisition. It is irreversible it seems.

or

Is there any option to reverse PR to planned order without doing MRP run?
