BOM Question.

Hello ,

I have a scenario in which for certain distribution channel certain Sales BOM should be exploded and defaulted in line item.

Example:

If distribution channel is 01 then explode B1 and if distribution channel is 02 explode the BOM B2.How we can achieve it can anybody tell me??

Dear Chakrabarty,

Maintain or create the B1Header material and sub items in 01 distribution channel only.

Maintain or create the B2Header material and sub items in 02 distribution channel only.

Hello,

I have created the alternate BOM.Now whenever sales order gets created all this three alternate BOM get displayed.From this we need to sleect the relevant BOM.In the popup screen its showing three BOM lines

B1-RP distribution channel.

B2-TB Distribution channel.

From that we need to select the relevant BOM.But user wanted Based on distribution channel relevant BOM gets explode automatically.Like for RP distribution channel B1 BOM will be automatically defaulted for sales order.Same for TB distibution channel.B1 AND B2 BOM ARE FROM SAME MATERIAL.

How we can achieve this scenarion can anybody tell me??

For example

B1 bom having material

L1,L2,L3

and the B2 BOM haivng material L1,L2 only.So L1 and L2 can have both the distribution channel.But BOM level B1 haivng 3 material and B2 haivng two material.But B1 valid for onle distribution channel and B2 valid for another distribution channel.Then when sales order placed for first distributon channel at that time B1 should get automatically defaulted.For another distribution channed B2 should get automatically defaulted.How we can achieve this?
