IC Console : Netweaver Identity Management Root node : context menu missing

Former Member

Hello there,

for the third time I have tried installing SAP Netweaver Identity Center, version 7.0.6753 SP2 + Workflow + Monitoring

I've used :

- Sun Java 1.5.2_16

- php-5.2.6

- Smarty-2.6.19

- Windows Server 2003

- SQL Server 2005

The installation finishes succesfully - however, when navigating to the IC Console : SAP Netweaver Identity Management Root node, the only entries in the context menu are new window from here, new taskpad view, etc. The Idendity Center context menu as shown in the documentation / Teched session is missing.

I only see the Data Synchronisation Engine listed.

Any idea how this can be resolved ?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Ivan,

Are you saying when you right-click on "SAP NetWeaver Identity Managment" that you do not have a "New" in-between "Properties" and "View"? In this "New" should be "Identity Center Configuration". You should also be able to click on "SAP NetWeaver Identity Management" and select the menu at the top of the screen "Action" -> "New" -> "Identity Center Configuration".

Best Regards,

Matt

I have had the same issue - try installing the SP3 version (available as full download) ,that did the trick for me.

Hi All,

Can you please guide me the path for SP3. I can see only SP2 IC in the installation section in the service market place.

Please let me know as I am facing problem with missing context menu.
