Hi Venkat

You should read through the S/4HANA Simplification List, in order to find out which features were simplified and which ones are no longer a target architecture. Also, check for the new Fiori Apps in the Fiori Library.

Please see SAP-KBA 2313884 on how to access the Simplification List : link

There are a lot of SAP-KBA's providing information for the Migration / Implementation to S4/HANA :

  • SAP-KBA 2361657 : link
  • SAP-KBA 2340116 : link
  • SAP-KBA 2496983 : link
  • ...

Finally, check the SAP-Help Documentation : link

Hi Hemu,

Read simplification of 1709 S4HANA PS, apart of this PS side SAP has introduced Fiori Apps which are approx 40 in 1709 S4HANA. earlier in previous version it was 13 only & DB has been changes when you check in status then it will display what DB they are using in current if S4HANA implemented.

most suitable things are we can transformation easily ECC to S4HANA by migration cockpit method where we can use multiple t-codes LTMC & TLMOM but before that have to complete template activities and validation with business users as well.

LTMC stand for Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit

S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit is used to migrate master and transaction data from SAP and non-SAP systems to SAP S/4HANA.

where data can be loaded to SAP S/4HANA system either using a template or directly through Staging Area here sap can confirmed

Using multiple transaction Codes and multiple screen navigation can be avoided with the help of Migration Cockpit. Easy to use interface. which helps the user to perform data load. Basic Mapping Functionality is provided by SAP, Mandatory fields required for loading are specified in the standard template which is provided by SAP, standard BAPIs will be used for data import. BAPI used for Data Import can be found in Transaction LTMOM.

hope this will help to understand.
