Hi BI Experts,
I have been going nuts to find out where I can suppress the warning messages when I run my query through BEx Analyzer.
My users are complaining that they have to see those Warnings.
I know 3.x BEx Analyzer in the settings menu 'Suppress warnings from the server'.
but can some one tell me how to do the same thing in BEx 7.0 (Netweaver 2004s).
<removed points offer>
Thanks

Thanks,
But not every message is available on the Message Suppression of RSRT. For example, the BRAIN message 473.
Any alternative solution?

HI,
Any possible answers for the below?
I need to Suppress the "Information" messages and / or warnings that pops up while the selection variable screen comes on and also when i execute the query in workbook.
An example is, i removed some obsolete infoobjects from the free characteristics area in few queries, and those workbooks using these are now popping up a message saying these fields no longer exist. I want them to be suppressed.
Any clues?

Did you try in RSRT?
Mention the particular query and click on the button "Messages"
You can suppress messages and warnings from there!!

Hi,
Are you sure you are not able to see the messages with the option from Generation, hierarchy etc.
It may not match exactly word by word due to your system parameters in between the message you get..try to find out which matches most.
Generally these are the messages that can pop up during a query execution and you should be able to find your message.
Thanks
Ajeet
