KANBAN quantity on the card

Hello Gurus, we are implementing KANBAN in procurement. We are using the standard WEK1 output type for KANBAN card and whenever we do a GR against a KANBAN PO, we can see the KANBAN card printed as well. The question is on the output of Kanban card, the quantity that is being printed is from the control cycle PKHD - BEHMG. I'm checking with our users here and they say that its quite common for them to receive more/less than the PO quantity. Is this normal for SAP to print the KANBAN quantity from the control cycle and not print the quantity from the material document (generated from GR against a PO).

Example: Kanban quantity in control cycle is maintained as 300EA. When the KANBAN status is changed, the PO is issued for 300EA, but we only receive 150EA against the PO, then the KANBAN card is still showing 300EA on the card, it should show 150, correct?

also when the quantity is not fully received against the PO which is tied to a KANBAN container in PK13N, the color is changed back to green from red, leading us to believe that the quantity is fully received, when in reality it's not. how do we address both these things? any help or discussion is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Ravi
