Ok. I am going to trust you.

And,now coming to Migration.

The Migration of a Script to Smartform is a process where the layout of script is migrated to smartform, nothing else...

Once it is migrated to smartform...you need to change the code with in totally right from scratch..as you have new tools here which will help in designing...instead of scripts where you need to write each statement.

Next, the Print Program also changes...You need to have new Print Program..and the FMs that are used in the Print program are..

SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME and the FM generated by smartform.

Ok...because this looks a theory question and many times a question like these are being asked in the interview...

So, some of the users post interview questions which is against Rules of Engagement.

Hi Vishwa,

You mean to say only layout will be migated not the code n we need to write the code from the scratch.

I feel this migration option given by SAP is not so worthy.

Hi

Yes, Only Layout comes...You have to change the code...That is how it is.

I dont know about Migration is worth or not, but the Smartforms are real good invention. If you are familiar with all the tools in smartforms...You can make it working in very less time....It is just that you have to be familiar with the optionalities.

Vishwa.
