Maximum number of material master data

Hi ,

what is the recommended maximum number of material master data (with extension fields)? The customer has 50.000 active and 500.000 material master data in total.

Are there any limits. As this is a manufacturing, the same number of BOMs and BOOs is needed. The BOM will consist of less than 10 lines (production of wires).

when the original ByD contract is signed partners should complete a sizing document. This has metrics regarding both transactional and master data. There is also a tool to test the network infrastructure. This document is available here

Hi John, in the sizing document we are not able to find any indication about the maximum number of master data like materials or business partner.

Are you sure that the document available in the link is right?
