Strange issue : Delta updated to PSA but not to DSO only for one field.

Hello,

The data source 2LIS_04_P_MATNR is being updated to a DSO. There seems to be a delta problem between PSA and the DSO.

We created the process order 600003730 in R/3. The original batch number for the process order was 70002A8. This was loaded into DSO.

The initial load looks good. The process Order 600003730 had the batch nuber 70002A8 in DSO.

The batch number has been updated to 70004A8 in R/3 and the delta infopackage is run. The delta package picks up the change and loads the data to PSA which is correct.

PSA

Reversal indicator Process order batch

<Blank> 600003730 70004A8

X 600003730 70002A8

However when the delta is loaded from PSA to DSO it doesnt seem to update the Batch number in DSO with the new Batch number. It still shows the old batch number 70002A8 though it has been changed to 70004A8 and is loaded to PSA.

Change log table of DSO

Process ord Batch Reversal ind(storno.) 0Recordmode

000600003730 70002A8 N

000600003730 70002A8 X

000600003730 70002A8 X

The Active table too shows the old batch number 70002A8 though ideally it should be 70004A8.

This issue is happening only with the batch number. The other fields seem to be OK. Is it because no keyfigures are changed.

Could you please help me to fix this if I am doing anything wrong.

Batch is a characteristic infoobject. I have keyfigures with 'summation' in the transformation.. Will that make any difference.

Anyone could you please help!!!

Thanks,

KK

Hi KK,

From looking at the changelog you provided I don't see any after image ' '. Do you modify the data in

a routine or any other custom coding? Please go through the note 1052335 step by step it should help

you to find the cause of the problem.

Best Regards,

Des.

Hey Des,

Thanks for the note. I will look into it.

Sorry, its due to formatting of the text. The third row 'X' belongs to storno and not 0recordmode. The reversal indicator for storno is highlighted.

Change log table of DSO

Process ord Batch Reversal ind(storno.) 0Recordmode

000600003730 70002A8 N

000600003730 70002A8 X

000600003730 70002A8 X

Regards,

KK
