Emigall : Sync Serial Number with Material Number in SAP ISU Device Migration

Hi Every one.

I am using an internal number range for Serial number in SAP ISU Device Creation (IQ01). While creating the device through EMIGALL the Serial number of Device not generated internally and showing below error.

Could you please help me how to resolve this issue.

Hi Suneel,

I don't think, just using the internal number range for Equipment and serial number doesn't mean that they will be in sequence all the time.

Moreover, it cannot be achieved thru standard approach.

As per my knowledge, the serial number field is a mandatory field in EMIGALL, and to cater your requirement, you need to pass the value of the EQUNR into the field SERNR before the service FM, ISU_M_EQUI_INSERT is being triggered.
