Model Mix Planning in PPDS for Automotive Industry

Hi,

We want to use Model-Mix planning in Automotive Industry for Vehicle Manufacturing.

1. Does this process is Repetitive(Planned order with reporting point confirmation) or Discrete Industry(Planned order converted to production order)?

2. Does IPPE is mandatory to design production line and takt based scheduling?

3. Does RPM is mandatory after using Model-Mix planning?

Hello Sangeeta,

If u Want use MMP for Auto industry IPPE is Must , with out that u can not implement MMP.
