How to see Sales Organization relations in Reports?

Hello Everyone,

My customer has 2 sales organization assigned to it.

And we created a kind of "relationships and customer" report with joined data source in the system.

In the standard scenario of 1 sales organization, the relationship values 'Bill-To Party Relship' and 'Ship-To Party Relship' would be displayed only once.

Also this customer has relationships only for this Sales Organization.

We want to see that report only one sales organization which has relations.

Still, the Report display the relationships also for the two Sales Organization 'due to the construction of the Data Source which is the one my report is based on.

Do you know any solution for that?

Thank you

Hello Begum,

I hope you are doing fine,

From our understanding, and following the scenario you described, the report is displaying Relationships for both Sales Organization. Indeed this can be experienced due to the Data Source construction behind the Report as well the Data Source used.

Since this cannot be changed from a Data Source Data level, we would recommend you to create a selection criteria, filtering only the results for the Sales Organization that you actually want to display in the report.

The selection defined in the Sales Organization characteristic would make the report display only the data which is related to this specific Sales Organization, hence it would filter out the relationships of the incorrect Sales Organization.

In case you need any further assistance, please leave a comment below 🙂
