Dear Experts,

We follow MTO scenario 20 strategy and consider i have 2 production orders 10001 and 10002 with 1 qty per production order. Now in MMBE or MB52 sales order stock will be 2, if i deliver 1 qty, then it will be 1. So in SAP is there any table links or reports which shows the delivered quantity belongs to which production order? For example the delivered 1 qty belongs to production order 10001. We don't follow batch process here,no batch management.

Kindly suggest your words on this.

Thanks in advance.

Dear Jeffrey,

For Tracking purpose we used batch number or Serial no.

Also always Stock is moving FIFO (First in First Out) method, if inventory is not managed in batches or serial no is not assigned to the inventory.

Hello Amarnath,

We've planned to go with Serial number to link production order with Sales order delivery,so that during document flow we can trace which production order. But before going with serial numbers we've to consider the following points in my customer side:

1) One production order has 1 quantity only. So if sales order is for 5 qty, (maximum lot size 1) then i will get 5 production order 10001 - 10005. So serial numbers should get created accordingly 1,2,3,4,5 for these 5 production orders.

2) After i do delivery for this sales order for example 2 qty, i want to know those 2 products were produced through which production order. So i'm planning to bring the serial no as linking part.

Kindly suggest your points.

Regards.

Dear Jeffrey,

In table AUFM you can put sales order no to get the Production order no against the 101 Material Docuement.

Dear Amarnath,

Yeah am aware of it,but will it also show the quantity delivered to customer belongs to which production order(obviously it will show sales order). Because customer wants to trace back to the production order level incase of bad quality customer return and then which labor did particular operation,so i need the link between the customer delivered stock and which production order.

Regards,

Jeffrey.

Hi Jeffrey

Can you refer tables VBFA and VBAP

In table VBFA from the delivery number you can get the Sales doc and item

In table VBAP you can pass the sales doc and item and get the production order number

Dear Jeffrey,

Generating 1 QTY per production kindly maintain fixed Lot size as 1.

Maintain proper serialization profile with Stock check indicator as 2.

This is for chcking serial no against the inventory.
