Grading in Appraisal Types

Dear Experts,

I created one Appraisal Template of weightage 100, comprises of two Appraisal types Lecture (50) and Lab (50).

Now requirement is, if student fail in Lecture (Less than 30) and pass in Lab (More than 30), He will be consider as FAIL. Means if he is fail in any one Appraisal type, he will be consider as FAIL.

Kindly suggest how this can be done.

Kind Regards

Fawad Aslam

Hello Fawad Aslam,

what is exactly the requirement? That the user cannot complete the module (SM) successfully unless the sub-appraisals have been fulfilled with at least 30?

Beside Setting up the appraisal template you as well need to set up the calculation method which will calculate the top appraisal based on the sub appraisal. The top appraisal is usually not maintained manually but filled due to calculation.

You also need to set up proper grade scales or performance indices in which it is defined when an appraisal is passed and when failed.

Please specify your question in detail and as well explain what you have set up already.

Best regards,

Silke
