Two posting date range in selection screen of report painter report

Hi

I am considering developing trial balance report, and want to decide if it should be done through Report Painter or custom ABAP code.

On my input screen, I need to specify 4 dates 1.) From & To 2.) For Reporting & Comparison

Reporting duration : From date To date
Comparison duration : From date To date

Can I have two posting date range in selection screen in a report painter based report ? Is this requirement possible using Report painter ??

I have tried to build library in GR21 using ACDOCT table and included Posting date in characteristic. I then used this characteristic in "general data selection" in GRR1. But system does not allow me to add posting date range in two rows on selection screen.

Please provide your input.

Hi, you can't do oit in report painter. But you can do it in Drill down report - FGI0, and ofcause in abap custom report
