Viewing Reports in Crystal Server 2016

We're using a trial version of Crystal Server 2016 to confirm that our reports will work (our reports were made using Crystal Server XI). We're successfully able to load our reports using the New > Local Document action in the Documents tab of the BI Launch Pad, and edit their Database Configuration settings (to point to the appropriate database) in the Personal Folder tab of the Central Management Console.

During this process we were unable to change the listed Data Source of the reports, as the drop down menu in the Database Configuration menu did not pull up any of our Data Source Names. We fixed this by creating a new Data Source Name with the same name as the default listed in the report.

Before this change (having the report use a different Data Source Name than the Data Source Name used in installation), we received the following error: com.businessobjects.report.web.shared.WebReportingException: The viewer could not process an event. Failed to open the connection. Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119].
After this change, using the "Use same database login as when report is run" option, we receive the following error instead: com.businessobjects.report.web.shared.WebReportingException: The viewer could not process an event. The database logon information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect. [] ---- Error code:0 [CRWEB00000119].

Using a different setting, such as "Prompt the user for database login," we receive no error, but the system doesn't accept our correct login info.

We are using a 2012 Microsoft SQL Server for as our data source, and the server is being run on a Windows 2012 R2 Standard machine.
