Is there any MRP type where we can consider both forecasting and external requirements

Hi,

I have tried with V1 i.e copy of V1 as ZA MRP type, where i have maintained the following

Include ext. reqmts 2 External reqmts within replenishment lead

forecast based planning

Forecast ind. + Obligatory forecast

Cons. Ind. F'cast G Total consumption

MRP Ind. Forecast G Total requirements

EX:-

sales order 20

forecast 20

when mrp runs it is creating PR quantity of 20 i.e for forecast quantity only , not considering sales order quantity.

i.e PR quantity should be 40

Can you help me, if possible also provide me step-by step process

Dear,

Please check your Planning Horizon in T. Code :OPPQ

If the requirement element is outside this, during MRP run it will be taken into consideration since last planning run.

Use Lot size = EX .

Please read OSS note 51576 - MD01: MRP type V1/V2: reorder point w. requirements

It gives you an example and explanation also.

Hi,

Can you try with this settings please

MRP TYPE: V1

Lot size: HB(In this make a customization change.......T-code OMI4, go to lot size tab

in the Max stock level: change the option to Maximum stock level after covering requirement

Max stock level: enter the quantity in MRP 1 view

try this your problem will be solved

Dear Satya,

i have tried with the setting mentioned, here it is picking the customer oders (external requirements )+ max stock level as purchase requisition quantity.

ex:-

maximum stock level--40

forecast requitrement--45

sales order ---40

sales order --20

safety stock -4

reorder level--10

PR quantity generated is 100= sales order (4020)maximum stock level(40)

then it is not considering the forecast requirements.

but here maximum stock level we are giving manaully also??

my requirement is, it should consider forecast requiremensts+ external requirements (sales orders) as purchaser requisition quantity after mrp run.

Configure a new lot size by copying HB in that you can configure, then you will get the desired result, try it and let us know

sales order 40

forecast 20

safety stock 4

plant stock 0

reorder point i have given manually as 10

after mrp run it is creating pr for 30 quantity i.e 20+10(reorder)

hi,

you are using V1 and what is the lot-size procedure, I think you can configure a new one in customization,

if you explain all the MRP VIEW SETTINGS then we can sort it out?
