consumable material

hi friends...

how to issue consumable material without production order...

we have a problem that we dont run mrp for some consumable materials, but in production of some semifinished product for which we run mrp, we need this consumable material, so when requirement is generated for semifinished product, we have to issue this consumable materials,

is there any solution...

thanks in advance...

    hi,

You can only make it MRP relevent when there are different consumable materials used for semi-finished product...

If you want the same material shd some time be MRP relevent and some time not....then its not possible since the Material is made MRP relevent vey firstly from MMR(by assigning the MRP views are its relevent data's).....

So if the material is differnt then its possible otherwise not possible..

    Hope its clear....

    Hi,

Include these consumable Materials in the BOM for that Semifinished product, select the check box Backflash Indicator in BOM for that only consumable materials.

So when ever you create the Production order then system will not consider for any issue of this materials.

Instead of that you can do these for Material staging in MF60 transaction system will only consider that materials which is included with backflush indicator. So you can issue the stock from one str loc to production str loc along with other materials.
