Hello Experts,

we are trying to develop Custom Screens using Annotation Modeller in sap web ide. we could able to develop UI, but unable to bind odata service to the UI. we could see data if we hardcode the content. Can you please let us know or any example code of how to bind odata Service using Annotation Modeller. We could successfully able to achieve funcitonality of implementing Smart List Object Template, but our requirement is only to develop object without list page. Thanks

Regards,

Siddarth Kabde

Hi Siddarth,

The annotation modeler should be used with SAP Fiori Elements. So I'm glad to read that you have successfully enabled the List Report Application (as it is now called). Instead of having a object page only application we use exactly the same template and make sure that it will only be called with a concrete entity, e.g. coming from the SAP Fiori Launchpad search or as app to app navigation from another application. If the URL parameter are correctly set, the List Report page is automatically skipped. All fact sheets are implemented this way. So just keep the List Report in the application descriptor (manifest.json). So calling the application makes the difference. No need to create a custom way for this.

I hope that helps,

Thorsten
