Excel Library and AddOn Installation

Hi everybody,

I created an AddOn that uses an Excel file to upload data from SAP database and to print the Excel file.

It works properly on my computer before(FROM vISUAL sTUDIO) and after AddOn installed.

No problem at all.

But on other workstations I got some problems.....and I think that perhaps I MUST include all Excel libraries(that referenced in Visual Studio) into installation package.

But it not sound right for me.

Excel 2007 installed on all computers.

Tried to find something about that, no luck.

Thanks

    Pavel,

Please provide more information. What problems are you experiencing? Any specific error messages?

Possibly you're using some specific .Net library to read the Excel files. If so, check if all the computers have the correct .Net framework installed.

No, it is not a NET Framework.

What I did is to added a reference to Excel libraries in my code.

I checked some computer and found that libraries

      C:\WINDOWS\assembly\Office.dll

      C:\WINDOWS\assembly\Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll

      is not existed there.

So, it means I have to include them into Addon installation file< define the destination path and registered them.

Any idea how to do it?

      I found

ExtraDirectories = New String() {"", "", "", "", "", ""} and I thinik this is where I would show the path where to save libraries.

How to registered them using SAP AddOn installer?

Or another thought that Office installation should be done differently to install this libraries.

      Thanks a lot,
