Hello,

I am wondering if there is a web application load balancer in front of my SAP J2EE stack.

Is the cookie sap_lb ... always present even where there is no load-balancer???

thx for your reply,

Hi,

By default the lCM acts as web application load balancer,

But if you want to have a load balancer which will redirect and helps you to secure access, then you have to install a "Web Dispatcher".

My question is then: So be default, we will always have a cookie saplb_ issued even if we have only one instance.

Is that correct?

By default, do we get this cookie even when there's only one instance?
