Hello,
I've been trying to find a field to store the Dun & Bradstreet (9 character DUNS #). I had heard there was a field available in R/3, but can't find it anywhere so I might have heard incorrectly. After doing some searches I can only find the field available on the BW system. I also came across a field on the vendor record but that's not going to be helpful either.
Is there a field to store a DUNS number on the customer master record? I'm on ECC6.
Thanks,
Jonathan
Hi Jonathan
Can you give more clarification what is DUNS? But as far as my understanding goes , i feel you are talking about dunning procedure. So kindly check in KNA2 table

Srinath,
Unfortunately this has nothing to do with dunning. This is a 9 character # that the company Dun & Bradstreet uses to monitor customers and their customer hierarchies. They update any customer changes (i.e. adress changes, sold to another company, credit scores, etc...) and can send it back to you so you can keep your information up to date.
Hi jonathan
If you want to know where the data is getting is stored like customer changes (i.e. address changes, sold to another company, credit scores, etc...).Then go to sales area data ->environment->sales data and click on execute. System will show the tables and fields which have been changed and when they have been changed
use t.code VC/2 for sales summary , may be this will help you

Hi,
I was in similar situation last year and I could not find one in the customer master.
My suggestion would be you can use customer master ->General data tab. Then go to menu Extras -> Text. There you can create one text for DUNS number.
In our business, we maintain DUNS number in the customer credit control data (trnax FD32) in status page, there is a field credit info. number (under External data). Here we maintain the DUNS number.
Hope this helps.
