Hi team,

Delta load tht happen every day ,appears to be red in process

chain maintaince screen rspc & in rsmo it shows green.

suprisingly when u right clk on the red load in rspc ,saying process monitor 'No data selected ' this promt cmes.

I checked for any red or yellow request in data targets & removed 1 that was their yest & did repeat in rspc, it ws successfull.

today ws expectg the load will be fine in process chain , but it still gvs same error."last delta "

Now i removed all logs for the chain with date range of last 6 months. But i am not sure whether its right approch to solve this.

pls help

Hi Deb,

Luckly i saw that thier ws another copy of r process chain job that used to trigger some seconds after the first one. so it used to say 'last delta still running'. After I deleted that extra copy of job , its goin smooth.

anyways I would like to know,

1) delete init flag.........

R u saying abt the IP scheduler -->Intialisation option 4 src system delete.

2) Fill the set up table with selections and run full repair.......

except rsa7 tcode , dont kn tcode for filling setup table.

points shll b gvn as i am clearing my concepts.

Hi Chandu & Debjani,

This delta load updates 2 IO(s) which are insertd as Data targets.

In manage tab for both IO's , I see frm last 1 n 1/2 weeks its getting 0 records.

there r requests dated 09/28/2008 to 10/30/2008 ,the one which i deleted yest ,frm one of the IO's was request dated

10/18/2008.there are many green request after tht say for 19, 20 ,21 oct so on.

Chandu abv is the detail for statement i made initally.

*I checked for any red or yellow request in data targets & removed 1 that was their yest .*

Also Debjani, I saw the request status as red, didnt cross check with Qm monitor status. But what i have cross checked

in infopack -->monitor,It clearly shows the load ws failure on 10/18/2008. so QM ws red!

Also I dont see any init loads for this IO's which r data targets .

when u say run delta IP after performing previous steps , it would be for current date ?.wat abt the previous delta request.

Hi Gemita.........

If you see QM status red from outside.........then also you have to set the QM status manually red...........because this will set back the init pointer..........then it will ask you for repeat delta.....and the records that were not picked due to the failed load that will also be picked along with the new records(if any).........I mean suppose your delta pointer is at point A.......your delta load failed and your pointer set to point B......then if you don't make the QM status manuly red.then in the next delta run it will pick data from pointer B onwards.......records between A and B will be lost..........and if you make the QM status manually red ....it will set back the pointer to A....................

Now you are saying for last 1 and 1/2 week it is picking 0 records...........I am very much confident that your delta mechanism is corrupted...........

Follow the steps as I have already told you.............to get back the lost records.........

You can also go for full repair..........

1) delete init flag.........

2) Fill the set up table with selections and run full repair.......

3) Then init

4)then delta........

Hope this helps.......

Hi.......

process monitor 'No data selected ' this promt cmes........

It means that your IP has picked 0 records........is it pick 0 records everyday.........or on that particular day only.......if every day it is picking some records........then you should check RSA7(Delta queue) in the source system to check whether the datasource is suppose to pick 0 records or not.........

And you are saying that today again your load failed with the pop up Last delta still not completed............and as per your update there is no pending load and you have deleted all the bad request.................Have you deleted all the bad request after making the QM status red.......or simply deleted..........

If you have'nt make the QM status red..........then I think your delta mechanism is corrupted...............thats why this pop up is coming........it will not allow to start the load..............

Then the only option is re-initialize.........

1) Delete the init flag.............to do this go to IP scheduler >> in the top Scheduler tab >> From there chhose Initialization option for source system >> from there delete the init flag......

2) I think your last successfull delta IP has picked 0 records........run init with data transfer........

3) Then run delta IP.......

Hope this helps........

Hi

If yesterdays load was succesful to psa then update that request to datatarget then update todays request then it will success.

If yesterdays one failed even to psa then repeat that request then load todays.Today's request will not be succesful until yesterday is succesful to datatarget since it's a delta load.

Chandu.
