Funds Management-Consistency Check for Revenues


I want to create consistency rule for revenues so that revenues should only be posted in negative when doing budgeting (FMBB), In case user post Commitment items with CI category 2 as positive, an error message shld pop-up.

I am not able to create correct rule for this.

Please help.

    Hi Jyoti,

    I presume, you do not want income to be posted with positive sign, right? But to do so, one should enter figures in FMBB with negative sign. To prevent this, do as following:

    Go to FMCCA, define prerequisites as category item equals 2, and the check that the key figure for budget GE than value (leave it empty). It's essential to put GE and not LE, as the sign convention in BCS posts everything with positive sign. So, normally you may have the same rule for expenses and revenues.
