Hi There

SAPOSCOL is avaiable at locatoin usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run

if SAP Instance is running on the host

if SAP instace is not running your can install it on any Directory

In your case you can install SAPOSCOL on any directory and you must ensure yourself that SAPOSCOL is automatically restarted after a restart of the host (for example, by entering the start command in the INITTAB). If there is an SAP instance on the host, SAPOSCOL is contained in the start script

for more details look on the link

I belive you are installing SAPOSCOL on LiveCache Server for Central monitoring

for this you need to check/ Define the location of your SAPOSCOL from file SAPCCMSR.INI

Hi Amit,

Livecache runs on MaxDB and you will not find the same directory structure on Livecache server.

SAPOSCOL ideally installed on the connected APO system - you can check saposcol status there.

For getting Livecache resource status, either try LC10 (in APO) and then check alert monitor or other usage tabs. Else use /n/sapapo/om13 for more detail informations.

Also logging into MaxDB box(LC) using DBMGui can provide more information about resource use.
