Issue
Crystal Report Crashes when we run a certain report. We have just upgraded from the trial version to the full version of crystal 2008. Another user still running the trial version is able to run the report without problems. Other reports using the same ODBC connection are running fine on the affected machine.
Here is some information from the dump report
Error Signature
AppName: crw32.exe AppVer: 12.0.0.683 ModName: myodbc5.dll
ModVer: 5.1.5.0 Offset: 0001b720
How should we proceed?
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi
Is this report different than others by any means.
Are you able to cretae a brand new report using the same odbc connection.
Please update with this information
Thanks

Here are ALL the details:
I created 2 reports for a client. One report works fine. The second report crashes for the client but works for me (This report includes queries using the data expert-u2018commandu2019).
The report did work at first, but then there were 2 things that might have been the cause for it to stop working:
1) It stopped working for me because the sql query created included the syntax u2018oj {u2026u2019 which isnu2019t a mysql syntax. I added a registry key that fixed this problem (by the way- I read about this solution in this forum- it was VERY helpful).
I sent the client the new version.
2) Meanwhile the client purchased crystal 2008 (until now both of us were working on the trial version, and they installed the full version).
So- I wonder if itu2019s the installation, the sql syntax or both that have anything to do with the report crashing.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
