Hello everyone,
I was trying to delete one step from one process chain but it is giving dump.
the step is "Update from PSA step"(3.x) and wanted to replace it with DTP(7.x).
As soon as I am trying to delete it then it is throwing a dump.
Please check the screenshot.capture.png
Anyone has any idea why it is acting like this....
Thanks,
Ipsita
Hi Ipsita,
My guess is that you still had data in your 3.x PSA.
Move the data, then delete the data, then convert to 7.x
Good luck,
John Hawk

Hi,
lets try to copy your chain and do the changes as you need.
I guess, your chain is not in active- mean not running and not scheduled.
lets try to remove from schedule and try do the changes?
At your info pack - you need to select data load upto PSA only.
After info pack step, you can add dtp step.
Thanks

Hello Raman,
In my chain Info packages load is upto PSA level and after that I also added DTP.
But I am unable to Delete the previous variants like "Update from PSA" (I have deleted the link between Info-package load and "Update from PSA" step and added the DTP after the info-package).
I have also copied the process chain and and tried to do the same but same issue faced.
Thanks,
Ipsita
Hi,
Lets try to delete your psa data which is not been uploaded further or any failed request at dev system and check it.
lets see, whether it allows you or not.
At production system, you don't need to delete it. as Prod system , PSA data will be updated further as per the schedule.
Otherwise, after loading PSA data to further, you can do your transports to production.
Even its still troubles you to modify the chain then you can create new chain if its not complex chain.
Creating new chain it won't take much time.
Thanks
