I haven't had this tasks but I'd like to know if you have experience with the following topics.

1. How can I read an attribute value from a different View->Context Node of the same Component?

2. How can I read an attribute value from a different Component->View->Context Node?

3. How can I change the display of BTORGSET/OrgDataDetSalesEL from Table View to Tree View?

Thanx in advanced.

    Hello,

    1.

The normal procedure would be to create a new context node on a custom or component controller. Next bind the nodes of your views to these context nodes. They are now shared.

    2.

Most commen case is when you have got a component usage for compnent C1 in component C2.

Now in C1 define a context node on compnoent controller level and put it in the interface. Binding of the nodes from the views is as in 1. .

In C2 create a new context node on compnent controller level and bind it to the desired views as well. In component controller IMPL class implement method WD_USAGE_INITIALIZE.

    3.

Create a new view using the <chtmlb:tree> tag and fill it correctly.

Yes, this is very brief. The first two are very easy and can be solve with the wizard. The last one is tricky.

    cheers Carsten

Do you know where can I find more documentation about steps 1 and 2.

I'm trying to do what you say but the steps in the wizard are not very clear for me.

    Thanx in advanced.
