JCO error with SSO2 green

Former Member

Hi all,

I have following error while configuring portal:

com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: The system is unable to interpret the SSO ticket received

However, since both issuing and verification systems are the one and teh same therefore SSO2 is showing green light.

Any clues how to solve it for metadata JCO connection.

Regards.

Hi,

For JCO meta data, please ensure you choose the username and password type and key in a user name and password which exist in the backend system and you would be good to go.

Cheers!

Hi Sandeep,

Thanks, it is true is configured successfully... however, in the config guide it said that SSO connection is required for metadata hence I was all into SSO. So from what you are saying if I correctly get it is that in this case, SSO is not required, user/pw is good enough, right. The user/pw config is already in green so I don't have to config for SSO right?

Regards

Hi All,

I found same error, according to our landscape we have to log in through SSO ticket not from user name.

i had changed all security certificate also with Trusted CAs.

"com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Issuer of SSO ticket is not authorized"

found above error while maintaining "JCo Destination" on test.

Problem resolved by changing trusted certificates in all corresponding systems.
