Hi Folks,

We are maintaining EAN & EAN Category fields in MDM - ran into issues when it started failing in ECC as the number ranges are configured internally/externally.

Anyone have any bright ideas of resolving this ?

Hi Vinay,

As in your case, the MDM is sending the EAN number, then it needs to be external assigned in ECC.

However EAN should only be assigned externally if it is specified by an external source such as the vendor, and you are familiar with the configuration of EANs in Customizing.

I guess you require a functional consultant help in this.
