Hi C4C Experts,
I am trying to get a characteristic/key figure as month in the report.
The month field is derived from (or calculated from) an additional date field (input field from user).
Can you suggest how to achieve this please?
Regards,
BK
Hi BK.
I am not 100% sure of your requirement, but in my understanding you are trying to convert customer date and using a calculated key Figure you want to convert it in Months. If that is the case, you only need to find out how to convert it using th information that the customer will provide you. We already have few blogs in this community that might help you to figure out the formula :
This one is very similar to what I could understand, and might help you a lot.

This another is more about figuring our formulas to convert duration. Should be useful for your case too.

If I have not understood your questions correctly, please reply so I can try to give you another insights.
Best regards.

Hi Mirelle,
Thanks for your reply.
What I am trying to do is to get the month from the date input in the extension field.
For example, input field is 16.03.2018, the calendar month should be March or 03 or if we could get March 18, it would be great.
Is there a way to get the month or calendar month/year in C4C? Please advise.
Regards,
BK
Another option: if for instance you need a Year-Month conversion as a characteristic, you can make a combined data source with the "Gregorian Date" datasource, joined on the date field.
The "Gregorian Date" datasource contains all kinds of date format you may need then in your reports.
