Intra-Company Stock Transport Orders and exposing the storage location address as a customer

Former Member

User Story:

Create an order for a finished product to an offsite facility that is defined as a storage location within the same plant but is not to be confused with a standard UD Stock Transfer Order between two different plants. The shipper on the order should be the plant but the consignee on the order should be the address of the offsite facility. The order also needs to be created by someone at the plant rather than someone within the Sales Department. The individual at the plant may only have access to certain finished products to transfer to another plant.

Natural fit in SAP or do I have to customize and create Z transactions?

Hello Nelson,

I'm not sure to follow all your needs but it seems that your case can be achieved using a SLoc to SLoc STO, you can configure this process under following customizing point :

IMG>Material management>Purchasing>Purchase Order>Set up Stock transport Order>Set up stock transfer between storage location

You'll be able to define a ship-to # for each of your Sloc and define an address in the customer master. The address will be, later on, retrieved in the STO and in the outbound delivery.

Hope this help
