SCM is an acronym which stands for "Supply Chain Management. This is a branch of knowledge that deals with management and movement of goods and services across various departments of a company such as sales, sourcing, procurement, production and distribution. Extended supply chain can include vendors, channel partners, third party service providers, and customers. SCM can also mean "mySCM" which is a SAP product with the portfolio of mySAP Business Suite, that includes tools and technology to balance supply and demand, drive distribution and transportation logistics in a real time integrated environment, provide visibility, collaboration capability, and analytical reporting capability within the supply chain network.
