Portal version and advantage of portal

Hi,

I have SAP Netwaever 04 version , can anybody please tell me corresponding Portal version with Netweaver 04.

What is the business benifits of corresponding Enterprise portal?

I am not asking benifits of Portal 7, but portal version supported by netweaver 04
