Hi
My client has different bank accounts with same house bank, currency and payment method. I am trying to create these accounts and assign bank subaccount in bank determination (FBZP) using different Account IDs but I am getting an error message "An entry already exists with the same key".
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Vignesh
Hi Vignesh,
As per my knowledge, in one house bank only one Account as be assigned.
Even though you have many accounts in one bank, you need to create different house banks.

Hi
The house you use to assign later the payment methods.
When you have city bank then you create bank keys like
CITUSD
CITGBP
CITUSD
or
CITUS
CITNL
or
CIT1
CIT2
In the bank bank account part you fill in the details, like bankaccount, currency, GL account

Hi In the next steps you are making the selctions for the bank selection.
There you fill in by payment method (and Cur) the house bank and then the system will use that bank account from the house bank.
House bank is not the same as bank key!!
When you have the CITY bank you have one bank key for all the bank accounts but 1 House banks by bank account.
This you set-up by company code
It is not possible to set up two entries in this configuration with the same house bank, payment method and currency. The configuration is used by the automatic payment program to determine the account from which to issue a payment - if there were two entries with the same house bank, payment method, and currency, the app would not know what account to use.
Why do you need two entries? What is your requirement?

Shannon
