Hello
The below is information about various ConnTrans logs:
1) DotNetQmtClient.log (for 5.0 and above): Statistics about Message transfer, messages sent, received with time taken for the same. This log is done always in the %temp% directory of the logged on user.
2) TransferService.log: Simple Traces for Communication between Mobile client and CommStation.
This log is done always in the %temp% directory of the logged on user.
3) TL_TRACE.DAT: Log for the import phase of the ConnTrans. dependent on the below registry entries TL_TRACE and TL_TRACE_DIR in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SAP\MSA\MW\TL. (TL_TRACE = 1 enables log). TL_SOAP = 3 gives you a XML dump of the message received by ConnTrans.
4) The log you will be interested is ConnTrans_log.xml. This file will always be there at the %temp% directory of the user logged in. This is where the 'last usage' settings are also maintained and by the way will have the start and end time for the last ConnTrans execution.

Hi,
why don't you use Tx smwmcomm in CRM system to analyze the conntrans activities?

Hi Axel,
Conntrans by default logs the information you are looking for. You do not need to modify any files for this.
