Hi Experts,

One of my customer is getting this error....

Error:"Please fill a cost assignment(cost centre/project etc) for this orde

can any one put some light on this what are the areas that i need to check

now customer saying he is getting this error when he is trying to select from the catalogue...

Hi,

I hope you enter the account assignemt manually after adding the item from the catelogue so there won't be any difference..

check the cost object again..

Dean,

User entered "project" as account assignment and he providing the wbs element for that . once he entered wbs element and tried to create the cart then he is encountering this error

You will be receiving the above error message based on the ipmlementaion in the BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI while the validation occured. This error message occur in the shopping cart creation while the cart is not recognising the cost centre / Project code in the following cases.

1. when the user enterd the in-valid account assinment

2. without entering the account assignment

3. If there is any space in the account assignment field

etc..

Also please check with the user and how he/she entering the value if you say still the account assignment value is correct..

If you look at the Account Assignment for the shopping cart line, you will probably see a G/L Account but not the cost assignment (ie. cost center, project, etc.) Or the user did not selection an account assignment type (CC, WBS, etc).

Please check and let me know what you find.
