A class has been assigned the characteristics but PR does not trigger Release Strategy once the value goes above 10,00,000 INR while when the value is less than 10,00,000 it is triggering Release Strategy.

Hi all, the purchasing group specified for 3 materials in PR was different then what was maintained in the Release Strategy. In release strategy tick the Purchasing Group you want to apply Release Strategy for.

in your question it was a PR, a PO is quite impossible since a purchase order has the purchasing group in the header and does not at all look back into the material master.

And in regard to the PR, if you had a blank entry in your classification, then it would not matter if the items had different purchasing groups.

Normally l went well working with a range between two values. Making of course different combinations separately! Not like you are showing there. Is there a problem to you try to do the same?

Can you add a picture of your classification?

What do you actually want achieve with such "<500000 INR, >500000-15,00,000 INR and >15,00,000 INR" values in a single classification

These are 3 different value ranges, so it would make sense if you had 3 release strategies

But in a single strategy such value does not make any sense, instead it can be expressed just with > 0

I have maintained 3 Release Strategies for 3 different values.

A Release Strategy is created for the values <500000 INR, >500000-15,00,000 INR and >15,00,000 INR. The Release Strategy is not triggering for the value above 10,00,000 INR.
